What We Need...
To apply for one of our short term unsecured personal cash loans, we need:
1. Your Last 3 Months (90 days) Bank Statements
These statements need to show full details of each transaction on your account during the last 3 months, right up to the day that you apply!
If you don’t have all of your statements, your best option may be to print them off the internet. Talk to your bank to find out how to access your bank account on their web site. If you don’t have a computer at home, you can print your statements at an internet café or public library. Please ensure that you print your statements directly from your bank’s web site – do not download the statements into a spreadsheet or other application.
As a general rule, a transaction listing provided by a bank teller over the counter will not give us sufficient information. We need proper bank statements.

2. Two Forms Of Identification
The following ID is acceptable:
- Driving Licence
- Community Services Card
- Birth/Marriage Certificate
- Work/Student ID Card
Other forms of ID may also be acceptable – please discuss this with one of the tellers at your local branch.
3. Two Bills or Letters Posted Home To Your Current Address
These could be a letter posted home to you by IRD or WINZ, or a bill from your phone or power company etc.
Your mail should be:
- From two different organisations – e.g. a letter from IRD and a bill from Telecom (but not two power bills), and
- Posted to your normal home address within the last 2-3 months.
Note 1: We must be satisfied that the mail you bring to us has been posted to your letter box, and not just handed to you.
Note 2: Bank statements do not count as mail – even if they have been posted.
What Happens Next...
Once we have the information we require, you will be asked to fill out an application form which usually takes 5 -10 minutes. We will then begin processing your application, which can take 2-3 hours depending on how busy we are when you apply.
If your application is approved, we will call you to guide you through the next steps. Note: An establishment fee, interest and other fees may apply. Please refer to Fees & Charges for more details.
If your application is declined, you will be advised accordingly. It is company policy not to explain why an application for finance was declined. We would suggest that you consider reapplying again in 2-3 months if your circumstances have changed.
