How to Apply
It’s really easy to apply for a loan. Here are the ways you can apply:
- Online - fill out our online application form. Or, fill out our contact request form and we’ll call you back within two hours (during office hours) to help you with your loan application.
- At one of our branches – come in and talk to one of our friendly team members in person. Make sure you bring your paperwork (listed to the left) so we can get your application processed as quickly as possible.
- Email us at email@example.com
- Phone any of our branches.
What happens next
So once you’ve finished your application and given us the required documents (see what we need from you) we’ll then process your application. This normally takes around 2-3 hours, depending on how busy we are when you apply.
If your application is approved, we’ll call you to chat about the next steps. Note: an establishment fee, interest and other fees may apply. Please refer to our Fees and Charges page for more details.
If your application is declined this time, we’ll let you know, but it is company policy not to explain why your application was unsuccessful. If your circumstances change at any time feel free to reapplying again in the future.
Applying online is easy:

Attach two types of ID, your last 3 months of bank statements and two bills or letters that have been posted to you at home within the last two months (or you can email, fax, post or drop them into your nearest branch).
We’ll process your application form and get back to you with an answer, usually within 2 – 3 hours.
If your loan is approved, you will need to send original signed direct debit forms back to us. You’ll also need to sign and return your loan agreement. Then your loan will be deposited into your bank account overnight.
NB: Signed Direct Debit Authority form originals must be posted/couriered to us or dropped into a local branch before we can issue the loan - the banks need to see original docs, not faxed or emailed copies! We can start the application process before receiving the direct debit forms, but not complete it.
What we need from you:
Before we can hand you over some extra cash, there a few things you need to show us:
1. Bank statements from the last 3 months
The first thing we need to see is a copy of your bank statements which show all transactions over the last 90 days from 2nd December, 2014 to today. If you only get your bank statements via email, you could try printing them via internet banking or ask your bank to print them for you.
2. Two forms of ID
We need two forms of ID before we can approve your loan. Acceptable forms of ID include a Passport, Drivers Licence, Birth/Marriage Certificate, Student ID, 18+ Card or Community Services Card.
3. Two letters with your name and address on them
We need to have an up-to-date address for you just in case we need to get in touch. So, we’ll need you to provide two letters or bills that have been posted to you at your current home address within the last three months. For example, a letter from your doctor and a power bill. Just make sure they are from two different organisations.
If you are renting and are one of the tenants listed on the tenancy agreement, a copy of your tenancy agreement would work as one of your letters/bills.
Unfortunately, your bank statements don’t count, even if they were posted.
