Dispute Resolution

Chequers Finance Limited is a registered Financial Services Provider (FSP16601) as defined in Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008.  The Act requires us to be a member of an approved dispute resolution scheme, and we are members of the scheme operated by Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL).

We take a great deal of care to ensure that your experience with us is as straight forward and painless as possible.  However, if you are not happy with the way we have treated you and wish to make a complaint, then you should first raise the matter with the branch that you dealt with when you got your loan.  You should tell us your concerns and explain how you would like them to be resolved.  This is often the quickest way to resolve a dispute.

If you are unable to resolve your complaint at local branch level, then you should contact our Team Leader at the Hamilton branch (our Head Office) & seek resolution from him/her.

If you are still unable to resolve your complaint, then you may contact FSCL directly and ask them to investigate and assist in reaching a resolution.
